Lewis Smith Lake Bass Fishing Report – Strong Numbers and Big Spots Being Caught on Topwater and a Dropshot Rig
Category : BASS FISHING REPORTS
The spotted bass fishing and weather has been spectacular on Smith Lake this past week. Smith’s water level is continuing to drop steadily as it usually does this time of year, but my clients are continuing to catch the big spots on topwater and a dropshot presentation.
The DUO Realis Pencil 110 and it’s little brother the Pencil 85 are calling the spots up from as deep as 30 feet, while the dropshot is working in 15 to 25 feet of water. My clients and I are fishing both presentations on points and drops close to deep water.
Would you like to gain more confidence using your electronics to catch big spotted bass? Now is the time to book your trip as the dropshot bite is very strong for both numbers and size. We’ll be catching the spotted bass while look at them on the graph—videogame style.
I have dates several dates available in November, so please contact me if you’d like to book your trip.
