Bethel University Leads After Day 1 of the Cabelas Collegiate Big Bass Challenge

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (April 5, 2014)

The 2014 Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash kicked off at Kentucky Lake and Paris, Tennessee today.  Though the day started off at a chilly 38 degrees, that didn’t prevent these collegiate anglers from quickly bringing big bass to the scales.

During Session 4, Bethel University’s Ty Dyer brought in a 7.42 pound bass!  Not only did he secure the 1st place in that session, he finished with the biggest overall Day 1 Big Bass.
