Glenn Walker – Being able to quickly remove a rod from my rod locker during a tournament is very important, as that lure rigged on that rod could catch that bass I need to cash a check in a tournament. At the same time it is important to protect your rods as they are an angler’s main tool in being able to have a successful day on the water!
Using a rod sleeve accomplishes both of these items and is also a valuable item for anglers to use that don’t own a boat as well. Rod sleeves, such as The Rod Glove protect your rods as you transport them in your vehicle and keep them protected during the off season as they are stored in your garage or basement.

Another way to keep your rods tangle free in your rod locker and from treble hooks damaging your rod blank (which can lead to a broken rod later on) is to hook your baits on the hook keeper on your rod and wrap your lure with a lure wrap. This way you won’t have these baits getting tangled in your other rods, you won’t damage your rods and you’ll lessen the chance of hooking yourself.
