A lot of sportsmen are having their outings recorded on cameras. From explosive top water excitement and wild Bass boat runs to their favorite spots, the video camera has become the standard for the amateur short film maker. From cameras like the Go Pro, fishermen, kayaks, cyclists, and other outdoor fun seekers can capture moments that can make them an instant star and in some cases a lot of money. Most Go Pro cameras start at around $200.00, but the thrill seeker can spend over $500.00 very easy. Unfortunately the attachment adhesive for these fine little cameras does not stick well to rough surfaces and lost Go Pro stories abound on Google and other product feedback sites.

Miller Built Products home of the Red One trolling motor systems has developed another complete fine system that really fits right into the video recording world.

Introducing, “The Red One Camera Keeper”

This Red One system was designed to be used on mounts like used on the Go Pro camera which is the most widely used small video camera of today.

Red One Camera Keeper lengths start at 12”, 36”, and 72”of red vinyl coated, 100% stainless aircraft cable for strength and a no rust material. Any custom length can be special ordered.

A pre-measured eye is looped that fits right over the tensioner shaft of the camera mount and is swaged on with a stainless sleeve. A plastic spring ball is added on the system to take up any slack around the object you wish to attach to and then a 100% stainless steel snap is swaged on the opposite end with another stainless sleeve. The system held over 100lbs. in a dead lift test without failure. Plenty strong enough for a Go Pro camera. All stainless steel metals means the finest of materials are used that you spend your hard earned money on to keep your Go Pro on-board for a very long time in the event of a mount failing.

Installation is a breeze. Just unscrew the Go Pro tensioner, slip the Red One Camera Keeper eye on the plastic shaft and reinstall the Go Pro tensioner. Loop the opposite end of the system around a secure non-living object, clip the Keeper around the cable and slide the spring ball to the clip.

The small black plastic anchors come with 2 stainless mounting screws to be used where no attachment is available. (Kayaks) Just another part of this Red One complete system.

Keep that Go Pro camera on-board with the Red One Camera Keeper system.
