Lake Guntersville’s reputation as a producer of tournament-quality largemouth bass is well-deserved and known everywhere in fishing circles. Stop on a hot ledge, and fill a five-fish limit of 4- to 6-lb. fish in a few minutes.

A brief mid-afternoon outing with B.A.S.S. Elite Series pro Kevin Hawk in early July produced that type of action. While we needed more than a few moments to fill our limit, the action was steady if not constant for just more than an hour on our first stop near the mouth of Alred Creek on the lower end of Guntersville.  Read More over on Alabama Outdoor News >>
