Lake Guntersville Bass Fishing Report – Big Bass on 4×4 Swim Jigs
Category : BASS FISHING REPORTS, HAWK TALK
I’ve fished the past few days on Lake Guntersville with clients and had an absolute blast. We’re having to cover a lot of water to find the bass, but when we do there grouped up tight. Today my clients had double hook ups twice and boated a dozen fish total. The best five weighed over 20lbs. Big fish was 7.4lbs
We’re catching most of our fish on 1/4oz white 4×4 swim jigs fished tight in the grass in 3 to 5 feet of water. It’s important to be throwing the swim jig into the grass and not just on the outside as many of the bites are coming after the jig deflects off the grass.
Believe it or not the grass is still growing in certain areas on Guntersville which should lead to great fishing for the remainder of November and into December. I still have a few date available in November. If you’d like to book a trip please contact me to check availability.
