Lake Guntersville Bass Fishing Report – Summertime bass fishing is hot right now

My clients and I have enjoyed several fun and productive days on the water this past week catching good overall numbers of bass and several quality fish as well.  The water temperature is in the mid to upper 80’s and the bass are active when you can find them schooled up.

We’ve been targeting Gville’s drops from 10 to 25 feet deep depending on the area of the lake we’re fishing. The key has been focusing on hard bottom areas with both rock and shell.

Bottom presentations, like a 3/4 oz 4×4 Football Jig and a 6″ Senko rigged on a 3/4 oz Picasso Shake E Football Head, mixed in with soft-sided swimbaits and hair jigs are all producing well.

A guided fishing trip on Lake Guntersville is a great Father’s Day gift—one your Dad or husband would enjoy.  If you’re interested in booking a trip please contact me for current availability.
